Weekly South Korea Crypto Market Outlook : The second week of September 2024

Cratos and CoinNess conduct regular weekly surveys.

Regular surveys are conducted every week within the Cratos app, and the number of survey participants is 2,000.

This particular survey was conducted from September 9th to September 13th.

According to the regular survey on weekly trends of Korean cryptocurrency investors jointly conducted by CoinNesss and Cratos, 36.0% of respondents (compared to 33.2% last week) forecasted that Bitcoin would rise or rise sharply next week. The percentage of respondents expecting a flat movement was 43.1% (compared to 43.5% last week), while the percentage of respondents anticipating a fall or sharp drop was 21.0% (compared to 23.3% last week).

For Ethereum, it showed a similar trend to Bitcoin. 42.1% of respondents (compared to 37.9% last week) forecasted that Ethereum would rise or rise sharply next week. Those expecting flat movement accounted for 37.4% (compared to 40.1% last week), while those anticipating a fall or sharp drop remained at 20.6% (compared to 22.1% last week).

When asked about market sentiment, 27.5%, responded with optimism or extreme optimism. The proportion of those responding neutrally was recorded at 43.2%. The percentage of people experiencing fear or extreme fear in the current cryptocurrency market is 29.3%.

In response to questions about coins they recently sold or plan to sell 19.1% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 17.1% for Ethereum.
Additionally, 11.9% mentioned XRP, 6.3% Dogecoin, 2.5% Solana, 1.4% MiL.k, 1.3% Polygon, 1.3% AhaToken, and 1.3% TRON.
Furthermore, a total of 37.9% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as Shiba Inu, Ethereum Classic, Klaytn, Cardano, Worldcoin, CORE, Metadium, BitTorrent, Paycoin, and others. 14.3% of respondents stated they had no intention to sell.

In response to questions about coins they recently sold or plan to buy 23.1% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 17.2% for Ethereum.
Additionally, 12.8% mentioned XRP, 4.5% Dogecoin, 2.7% Solana , 1.6% Shiba Inu, 1.4% MiL.k, 1.4% TRON, and 1.3% TRON.
Furthermore, a total of 37.9% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as AhaToken, Ethereum Classic, CORE, Klaytn, BitTorrent, Worldcoin, Cardano, Ondo Finance, PEPE, and others. 13.3% of respondents stated they had no intention to buy.

As a response to a survey asking ‘There was a rumor that Kamala Harris dismissed SEC Chairman Gary Gensler. If Harris is elected, do you think Gensler, seen as a crypto adversary, would be dismissed?’, 33.6% answered ‘He will be dismissed.’. Those who answered ‘He will not be dismissed.’ were 38.6%. 27.9% of respondents answered ‘Gensler will ultimately serve out his full term because of the procedural reasons.’.
