Weekly South Korea Crypto Market Outlook : The second week of October 2024
Cratos and CoinNess conduct regular weekly surveys.
Regular surveys are conducted every week within the Cratos app, and the number of survey participants is 2,000.
This particular survey was conducted from October 8th to October 11th.
According to the regular survey on weekly trends of Korean cryptocurrency investors jointly conducted by CoinNesss and Cratos, 38.1% of respondents (compared to 42.0% last week) forecasted that Bitcoin would rise or rise sharply next week. The percentage of respondents expecting a flat movement was 43.5% (compared to 40.1% last week), while the percentage of respondents anticipating a fall or sharp drop was 18.5% (compared to 18.0% last week).
For Ethereum, it showed a similar trend to Bitcoin. 42.5% of respondents (compared to 46.1% last week) forecasted that Ethereum would rise or rise sharply next week. Those expecting flat movement accounted for 38.4% (compared to 38.1% last week), while those anticipating a fall or sharp drop remained at 19.2% (compared to 15.9% last week).
When asked about market sentiment, 27.5%, responded with optimism or extreme optimism. The proportion of those responding neutrally was recorded at 43.2%. The percentage of people experiencing fear or extreme fear in the current cryptocurrency market is 29.3%.
In response to questions about coins they recently sold or plan to sell 17.4% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 16.3% for Ethereum.
Additionally, 10.2% mentioned XRP, 5.8% Dogecoin, 2.7% Solana, 1.4% MiL.k, 1.2% AhaToken, 1.2% Pyth Network, and 1.1% Shiba Inu.
Furthermore, a total of 42.8% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as Polygon, Civic, Aptos, TRON, Metadium, Cardano, Ethereum Classic, NEAR Protocol, UXLINK, and others. 15.3% of respondents stated they had no intention to sell.
In response to questions about coins they recently sold or plan to buy 20.3% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 15.8% for Ethereum.
Additionally, 10.9% mentioned XRP, 5.6% Dogecoin, 2.5% Solana , 1.4% Shiba Inu, 1.3% MiL.k, 1.2% Orbs, and 1.1% Shiba Inu.
Furthermore, a total of 42.8% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as Polygon, Metadium, TRON, Chiliz, Dkargo, Ethereum Classic, Cardano, AhaToken, CORE, and others. 13.9% of respondents stated they had no intention to buy.
As a response to a survey asking ‘There is growing anticipation that Bitcoin will break its all-time high before the end of the year. What is your forecast for Bitcoin dominance by year-end? (The year’s high was 58.61% on September 24th)’, 24.4% answered ‘60–62%’. Those who answered ‘58.61%’ were 34.7%. 27.9% of respondents answered ‘63% or higher’. 13.1% of respondents answered ‘Over 70%’.
