Weekly South Korea Crypto Market Outlook : The second week of April 2024

Cratos and CoinNess conduct regular weekly surveys.

Regular surveys are conducted every week within the Cratos app, and the number of survey participants is 2,000.

This particular survey was conducted from April 10th to April 12th.

According to the regular survey on weekly trends of Korean cryptocurrency investors jointly conducted by CoinNesss and Cratos, 46.0% of respondents (compared to 44.2% last week) forecasted that Bitcoin would rise or rise sharply next week. The percentage of respondents expecting a flat movement was 39.2% (compared to 42.9% last week), while the percentage of respondents anticipating a fall or sharp drop was 14.8% (compared to 12.9% last week).

For Ethereum, it showed a similar trend to Bitcoin. 50.6% of respondents (compared to 48.3% last week) forecasted that Ethereum would rise or rise sharply next week. Those expecting flat movement accounted for 38.5% (compared to 40.2% last week), while those anticipating a fall or sharp drop remained at 10.9% (compared to 11.5% last week).

When asked about market sentiment, 39.9%, responded with optimism or extreme optimism. The proportion of those responding neutrally was recorded at 48.1%. The percentage of people experiencing fear or extreme fear in the current cryptocurrency market is 12.0%.

In response to questions about coins they recently sold or plan to sell, 19.2% of respondents answered Ethereum, followed by 16.9% for Bitcoin.
Additionally, 11.5% mentioned Ripple, 6.2% Dogecoin, 1.9% Solana, 1.8% TRON, 1.6% Shiba Inu, 1.5% Ethereum Classic, and 1.5% AhaToken.
Furthermore, a total of 37.8% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as MiL.k, Metadium, Polygon, Klaytn, Wemix, World, Cardano, eCash, Neo, and others. 12.0% of respondents stated they had no intention to sell.

In response to questions about coins they recently bought or plan to buy, 19.7% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 19.4% for Ethereum.
Additionally, 12.3% mentioned Ripple, 5.4% Dogecoin, 2.4% Solana, 2.0% Shiba Inu, 1.3% Polygon, 1.3% MiL.k, and 1.2% AhaToken.
Furthermore, a total of 35.1% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as World, Ethereum Classic, TRON, Klaytn, Core, Metadium, BitTorrent, Wemix, Cardano, and others. 11.2% of respondents stated they had no intention to buy.

As a response to a survey asking about the most interesting virtual asset trend, the highest number of respondents, 43.5%, answered that they were focusing on AI. Those who answered that they were focusing on Meme were 18.4%. 20.0% of respondents answered that they were focusing on RWA. 6.4% of respondents answered that they were focusing on SocialFi. Those who answered that they were focusing on Bitcoin Layer 2 were 7.1%. The smallest number of respondents, 4.6%, answered that they were focusing on just Bitcoin.
