Cratos X CoinNess Survey : Weekly trends of Korean cryptocurrency investors (Mar. 6, 2024 — Mar. 8, 2024)

Cratos and CoinNess conduct regular weekly surveys.

Regular surveys are conducted every week within the Cratos app, and the number of survey participants is 2,000.

This particular survey was conducted from March 6th to March 8th.

According to the regular survey on weekly trends of Korean cryptocurrency investors jointly conducted by CoinNesss and Cratos, 53.3% of respondents (compared to 58.7% last week) forecasted that Bitcoin would rise or rise sharply next week. The percentage of respondents expecting a flat movement was 27.4% (compared to 20.5% last week), while the percentage of respondents anticipating a fall or sharp drop was 19.4% (compared to 20.8% last week).

For Ethereum, it showed a similar trend to Bitcoin. 59.0% of respondents (compared to 62.1% last week) forecasted that Ethereum would rise or rise sharply next week. Those expecting flat movement accounted for 30.5% (compared to 27.4% last week), while those anticipating a fall or sharp drop remained at 10.5% (compared to 10.7% last week).

When asked about market sentiment, the majority, 47.6%, responded with optimism or extreme optimism. The proportion of those responding neutrally was recorded at 34.0%. The percentage of people experiencing fear or extreme fear in the current cryptocurrency market is 18.4%.

In response to questions about coins they recently sold or plan to sell, 20.9% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 20.0% for Ethereum.
Additionally, 9.9% mentioned Dogecoin, 9.4% Ripple, 3.0% Shiba Inu, 1.9% Worldcoin, 1.8% Tron, 1.7% MiL.K, and 1.4% Solana.
Furthermore, a total of 30.3% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as Stacks, Ethereum Classic, Polygon, Pepe, Aha Token, Metadium, BitTorrent, Klaytn, eCash. 6.8% of respondents stated they had no intention to sell.

In response to questions about coins they recently bought or plan to buy, 23.4% of respondents answered Bitcoin, followed by 22.1% for Ethereum.
Additionally, 11.0% mentioned Ripple, 8.1% Dogecoin, 3.0% Solana, 3.0% Shiba Inu, 2.1% Ethereum Classic, 1.9% Polygon, and 1.5% Pepe.
Furthermore, a total of 23.7% provided various other opinions. These included cryptocurrencies such as MiL.K, Tron, Cardano, BitTorrent, Metadium, Wemix, Aha Token, Klaytn, Stacks, and others. 4.9% of respondents stated they had no intention to buy.

As a response to a survey asking about investment sentiment towards the Bitcoin bull market in South Korea, the highest number of respondents, 35.3%, answered that they would buy altcoins, rather than Bitcoin. Those who wanted to buy Bitcoin were 27.8%, while those already have had Bitcoin accounted for 21.7%. On the other hand, only 15.2% of respondents answered that they would just wait and see.
